K Beauty Products That I Am Excited To Try (Part 3)

This is the last blog post to this series of posts titled "K Beauty Products That I Am Excited To Try". There really are way to many products that I am interested in trying but there's only so many of them that I can apply on my face at any one time. I don't know how people can have multiple skin care products open at the same time, I always feel the need to finish what I have open, before trying something else. At any one time, I'll max have maybe 2 of the same category of products open (think toners, serums, moisturisers...), any more than that makes me nervous that I won't finish them before they go bad.

Anyhoo~ Let's begin with the last bunch of items I am excited to try.

K Beauty Products I Am Excited To Try (Part 2)

I am back with another "K Beauty Products I Am Excited To Try" because there are sooo many products that I picked up that I legit can't wait to finally try. I went to Seoul recently, shopped way too much, picked up a lot of new products both from brands I've never tried before and brands I have tried before, and these are what I am most excited to try.

K Beauty Products I Am Excited To Try (Part 1)

I have recently came back from a trip to Seoul and boy did I really go ham on the shopping. I have a list in my phone of all the things I have come across and want to try, complied from many YouTube videos or just good old fashioned blog posts and whenever I head to Seoul, I stock up on all the items I want to try. This trip was no exception.

I have actually neatly packed them into my drawers (I didn't think about doing a post on them oops) so instead of taking them out, taking photos of them and then packing them back, I'm just going to google image of them and place them here. Of course, I'm not going to talk about all of them but I'll talk about the ones I'm most excited about trying. I have included links to the products if you're interested in picking any of them up~

Insane Korean Beauty Haul

Well.... I went a bit crazy shopping in Korea. But to be fully honest, not everything here is mine, I bought quite a few items for friends and family :> If you're interested to see the specifics of what I bought, I'll be breaking down the haul into brands so keep your eyes peeled!

Zoella Beauty Haul

I am so excited to share this with you because I've been waiting to get all these items for the longest time. If you didn't already know, I'm a huge fan of YouTube star, Zoe Sugg, or better known as, Zoella. I think she's amazing and when I found out she was bringing out her own beauty brand, I was so damn excited. Sadly, her items only retail in the UK and not in Singapore so can you imagine how eager I was to purchase her items when I first learned that I was finally going to the UK.

I literally ran into the first Superdrug I saw to check that Zoella Beauty was indeed sold there and I had to wait till I went back to London to purchase them because I knew I wanted EVERYTHING and I didn't want to lug them around with me as we road tripped across the country. Superdrug was also having a buy 2 get 1 free promotion when I was there which was perfect because I got all my items on "discount". So without further ado, let's see what I got.

I got both of the fragrances that were available in Superdrug, Let's Spritz! Body Mist (£8.00) and Blissful Mistful Body Mist (£8.00). I haven't tried the fragrances for myself yet but I am definitely thrilled to own both.

I got the Creamy Madly Dreamy Body Lotion (£5.00) as well. Can't wait to welcome this to my collection of body lotions and butters!

I also managed to get my hands on the Foam Sweet Foam Cleansing Shower Gel (£3.50). This bottle looks too pretty to use and I'm without a doubt going to keep this bottle after I'm done with it. It will look amazing on my table top.

Last but not least, I got my hands on not 1, not 2, but 5 of her cosmetic pouches/bags. I know, I know, it is all very excessive but I couldn't help it. I have to say my favourites have to be the Classic Vanity Case (I bring this with me every time I go overseas to pack my skin care in) and the Guinea Pig Beauty Bag because guinea pigs are just the cutest little buggers ever.

From the top in a clockwise motion: Zoella Classic Vanity Case (£15.00), Zoella Lace Collar Purse (£6.00), Zoella Just Say Yes Beauty Bag (£8.00), Zoella Beauty Guinea Pig Beauty Bag,  Zoella Favourite Things Beauty Bag (£8.00)

I'm so excited to have all these items in my collection and I'm so excited that she's going to be releasing even more items in her Sweet Inspirations range. I really wish I could get her items here in Singapore but I'll just have to be satisfied with what I have right now. If you have any good ideas on how to get Zoella Beauty in Singapore, do let me know! Thank you for reading!

Nature Republic & The Saem Haul

I haven't actually tried a lot of products from Nature Republic before but I know there do have quite a few products which are pretty popular. I really should start giving this brand a proper shot soon but I'm so hung up with my stuff from Innisfree that I haven't had the chance to try much from this brand but I will definitely make a point to start using this brand more often, especially now that I've gotten more stuff.

The first and most obvious item I got were face masks. They were having a 10+10 for the sheet masks so of course I got myself some sheet masks. I believe they have a few pieces from all their flavours which is great because I get to try all of them, even ones I wouldn't normally have picked up for myself. As mentioned in a previous post, I have been suffering from break outs because of all the travelling (and the resulting jet lag) so I picked up the Bee Venom Emulsion to help with that. I really wish I was one of them girls with perfect skin no matter what I did but sadly, even at the ripe old age of 24, I still suffer from spots so I have to deal with them. I've heard good things about the Argan 20 Real Cream and I really can't wait to give it a proper shot. The last item was purely an impulse buy. I saw the ampoules that Nature Republic had on display and I just tried the Rose Real Nature Ampoule on my hand on a whim and fell in love with it. It smells wonderful, doesn't feel greasy, and just generally felt incredible on my hand so I tossed it into my basket on the way to the cashier. I really am horrible but I will bring this with me on holiday just to use it and hopefully, I'll have a review on this when I'm back.

Got myself some items from The Saem as well. I haven't tried much from this brand before because it is a somewhat new brand to me even though I know it isn't new in the beauty industry. And because I haven't tried much from the brand, I picked some out to try, the first being items from the Iceland range and I got the Hydrating Toner and Hydrating Emulsion because they were having a 1+1. What better way to try 2 different products than when they are on offer? I also got myself an incredible deal when I got the Brown Rice Cleansing Tissue because I think I paid less than $8 for 100 pieces of cleansing tissues? That's insane.

They were also having sales for their hand creams and you know I love me some hand creams. Got 4 in the scents Oriental Mandarin, Sugar Peach, Magnolia and Cherry Blossom. I seem to be doing a lot of hauls recently, haven't I? But that's just because I've been travelling so much and every thing is hella cheaper overseas than back in Singapore but I just have 2 more haul posts coming up then I'm done!

Thank you so much for reading!

Innisfree Haul

Guys.... You all know Innisfree is pretty much my favourite Korean brand of all time right? Well they were having a sale when I went and I went crazy (as usual) perusing the shelves and I kind of bought quite a bit of stuff. I can't help myself whenever it's Innisfree *shrugs* Let's get along with the haul then, shall we?

I've never tried body lotions from Innisfree before but anything Innisfree should be amazing right? I got 3 of them in the scents Wild Berry, Gardenia and Peach. If you are a huge fan of fruity and floral scents, then be sure to take a whiff because all of these smell amazing. I believe SH will agree with me as well (he likes it whenever I apply nice smelling body lotions and these smell INCREDIBLE).

They were having a 1+1 for their sun blocks so I got myself the Eco Safety Perfect Sunblock in SPF 50+ PA+++. I'm on the look out for the perfect sunblock and I've heard good things about this one so I'm excited to give them a try! But for the price, I got them at 6,000 KRW per sunblock because of the sale, I really cannot complain.

Hand creams are a huge must for me because my hands get so dry, especially when I wash them constantly at work. Korean brands do the best hand creams because they are so small and convenient to travel with. I got mine at 50% off so these basically retailed for $2 per piece? How can you get hand creams like these in Singapore, ever? I got 5 in the scents Tangerine, Wild Berry, Gardenia, Apricot Blossom and Sudachi. I'm definitely not going to run out of hand creams any time soon.

There's always room for cleansing tissues, especially since I'll be taking 3 flights just to reach Calgary, Canada. I'll be spending a lot of time either in the plane, or in transit so cleansing tissues are a must to keep my face clean. I absolutely cannot stand airplane air so I need something to freshen myself up on those long haul flights so I picked up the Apple Juicy Cleansing Tissues as a little pick-me-up.

I'm on the look out for a good face moisturiser and while I love the Mango Seed Butter from The Face Shop, I've gotten bored of it and I'm ready to move on to the next one so I got myself the Green Tea Moisture Cream to try. I never say no to green tea anything.

Now that I'm approaching my mid twenties, I'm always weary of premature ageing. I don't lead the best lifestyle, especially when I've been travelling so much and the time difference wrecks havoc with my health and skin. The orchid line from Innisfree seems to be getting a lot of love so I decided to pick up the Orchid Eye Cream and Orchid Intense Cream to see if help in preventing the first signs of ageing as well as supply ample moisture to my skin.

If you don't already know, I'm a huge fan of the Ampoule Intense Cushion from Innisfree and when I heard that they had a newer formulation of the cushion, I knew I had to try them out. I got the Ampoule Moisture Cushion refills because I already have the compact (refills are a lot cheaper than purchasing the whole compact). I'll keep you guys updated on whether I like this more or the original one more.

I got myself the Soybean Energy Essence because I'm on the hunt for the perfect essence (also I really don't want to splash out on the IOPE Bio Essence Intensive Conditioning even though it works like a dream) and I thought I would get this to see how it lives up to the IOPE one.

I'm not the biggest fan of touching up make up, especially since I'm too lazy to lug around make up whilst I'm out and about so I'm always looking for ways to prolong the longevity of my make up and one such way is to invest in a good primer. Since I'm pretty much finishing the one from The Face Shop, I got the No-Sebum Blur Primer to try. Pretty excited to try this because my sister said that it was good.

I never say no to sheet masks, especially when they are on 50% off. I love to stock up on masks because masks are so darn expensive here in Singapore. I love to treat my skin to a good sheet mask, especially when I'm travelling because the air on the plane is fantastically dry and disgusting. Also, going to drier climates when you have dry skin isn't the best thing to do so sheet masks are essential in saving my skin from becoming flaky. I bought 5 pieces of each of the 4 flavours (Green Tea, Rice, Lime and Black Berry) and they are really good at injecting life into my skin.

Whew, that was such a long post to type but we are finally done! Always thankful for sales because they help me save a ton of money. Thank you so much for reading!

Butter Haul

If you're ever in Hongdae, I would highly recommend visiting Butter which is a located at one of the exits of Hongik University Station. Think of Ikea mixed with Typo. It sells anything from notebooks, succulents, food, to little bits of furniture and candles, and every single item is amazingly cute and surprisingly practical. I got quite a bit of candles (they were having a sale) and some other knick knacks. I can't quote the prices and names of items because I didn't take note of them (oops) and the names were in Korean as well but you should definitely check them out! There's so much to see every single time I enter the shop and I almost never leave without purchasing something.

Boons & Olive Young Haul

Shopping in Boons & Olive Young can be overwhelming because there are so many different brands and products available for sale there. I literally don't know where to start and I hop from counter to counter like a bird looking at all the new items available on sale and all the offers that they are having at the moment.

I was pretty focused on what I was looking for and it took me a while to find these items, especially items from the brand Ciracle. Unfortunately I can't tell you which exact outlet I got these items from but you can probably get them in Myeongdong. I don't think I got any of these in Hongdae and I basically shopped at these two places so you can try the Boons or Olive Young in Myeongdong if you're interested in any of these items!

I was having a massive break out whilst I was back in Singapore after my UK trip because I was severely jet lagged and I was sleeping at like 4-6am every single night. As a result, my face was horrible and spotty so I embarked on a mission to find these items from the brands COSRX and Ciracle because I knew that they were good for treating spots. I've tried the Pimple Solution Pink Powder from Ciracle before and it definitely helps to treat those nasty buggers. The Red Spot Cream from Ciracle helps to heal the scars that spots leave behind which is great. I've tried the One Step Pimple Clear Pad from COSRX a few times and I think it works as a preventive measure to prevent pimples from erupting. Whenever I feel like my face is becoming particularly spotty, I just use one of the pads and by the next day, all the little spots seem to calm down quite a bit which is pretty incredible.

I've heard so many good things about the April Skin Magic Snow Cushion and I've heard so many people swear by it that I knew I just had to give it a proper try for myself. Managed to snag this in Olive Young in Myeongdong and I can't wait to start using this.

Another highly-raved item is the Son & Park Beauty Water. I'm always on the look out for good essences and since this seems to have won over many people's hearts, I wanted to try it for myself to see if it was worth the hype.

No particular reason why I got these except for the fact that they were there, and the colours were lovely. Also, the names of the shades are names of Disney Princesses. How could I say no? These are the I'm Lip Liquid from MEMEBOX. I got the shades Adriana and Pocahontas.

This was a purchase mistake. I wanted to get the Nexcare pimple patches but ended up with the nose strips oops. But I guess I will make use of this eventually, and they were on 1+1 so no harm done I guess?

Boots & Superdrug Haul

I... went a bit crazy shopping in Boots and Superdrug. Yes I know this is definitely excessive and way more than any girl ever needs but hey, everything was so much cheaper than in Singapore. I will get through all these eventually so without further ado, let's get on with what I bought.

Waitrose Haul

Don't you just love buying items, especially when they are on sale? Waitrose was having a buy 3 for the price of 2 on their beauty items and I managed to snag a few great deals, even if I do say so myself. I didn't buy much but if you're interested to find out what I got, please carry on reading.

My hair was an absolute mess when I was overseas because the air was a lot drier there than back home. My hair was a frizzy mess and was permanently filled with static. Also, long hair tends to be a lot harder to maintain than short hair, so I got myself 2 different hair oils to try, macadamia oil and argan oil.

I also got myself 2 hand creams and 2 body butters in different scents because they were so reasonably priced and smelt amazing. Have you seen packaging this lovely for house brand items in Singapore before? I know I haven't. I hope you enjoyed this little haul post, and there's more to come so keep your eyes peeled if you're interested to see what else did I get on my travels!
