Current Makeup Favourites | April 2019

When I find something I like, I tend to go back to it over and over again so having monthly favourites isn't something that comes easy for me. However, I do switch up the products in my routine every once in a while and sometimes, I discover new favourite items. October Favourites

I am beyond excited to be starting this new series on my blog. You see YouTube videos all the time on monthly favourites and since I don't really do a lot of YouTube videos besides travelogues I thought I would do a monthly favourites but in blog posts. 

It's already November (where has the time gone?!) and so this means it's time for an October favourites post. These items are not only ones I have been loving in the month of October but I have loved some for months and months but since this is the first post I'm starting, I thought I would lump all of them together into one post to kick start this series. So without further ado, let's get started!

Review | Wet n Wild Megalast Lip Colour

After watching Kathleenlights rave about the Wet n Wild Megalast Lip Colours on YouTube, I chanced upon them when I went to BKK and I snagged a few of the colours for myself to try out. At USD 1.99 per pop, they are amazingly priced and I've never known another lip colour to be this affordable without sales/discounts. I have since tried out the lip colours for myself and I have pretty much fallen for them. I know why there are so many good reviews about them circulating the Internet and I am here to add my two cents worth.

Review | Wet n Wild Color Icon Bronzer

I have been looking for a good and relatively inexpensive bronzer simply because I have never tried one and I wanted to. Whilst I was perusing the Wet n Wild counter at Boots when I was in Thailand (I really love their Mega Last Lip Colors), I came across their Color Icon Bronzers and since they were pretty reasonably priced, I thought I would get one to give it a try.

Now, if you don't know, Wet and Wild is an American brand which we sadly do not have in Singapore drug stores. I did note that Luxola does carry a small selection of Wet n Wild products if any one is interested! 

So without further ado, let's proceed with my thoughts on this product!

It comes in a simply container with a transparent plastic cover which is slightly flimsy. I've read reviews that the cover does break off pretty easily so be sure to handle it with care! 

Mini Haul // Cute Notebooks, Etude House & Wet n Wild

I'm back with an exciting little post because I bought a few cheeky items when I went to JB, and also when I went to BKK with SH in April and I thought I would just post about them all here.

So recently, SH and I decided to pop over the causeway to JB to explore KSL and also to have my favourite Ah Piaw wonton mee and loklok.

We drove over and got stuck in the traffic jam for a good 2 hours which was okay because we pretty much spent it blasting songs in the car and taking funny snapchats of each other haha.
