Once again, the paper bag allocated for collecting all my finished products is filling up so I thought it's time to do yet another product empties post. To make things easier for me, I thought I would do 10 products at a time, so these posts will probably be more timely as well because I don't have to collect a whole bunch before doing one empties post.
So let us get started.
I've finally finished using my huge bottle of Galateis Doucer which is a cleansing milk from Lancome. This bottle contains 400ml worth of product so it takes me forever to get through this but I was determined to do so so that I could try other face makeup removers.
What I do is pump 2 pumps of product on my hand, then rub it all over my face before tissuing everything off. This does the job of taking off pretty much all of my face makeup, although I don't use this to remove my eye makeup.
Would I repurchase this though? No, not really but I do have a few more bottles in my collection so maybe you'll see this featured in yet another empties post.
I finished the Innisfree Eco Science White C Pore Double Serum and although I really liked this serum, it wasn't my favourite one to use. I liked the citrus smell, and I like how it felt on my skin (it leaves a silky finish, non-greasy or sticky) but I felt that it didn't do much for my skin in terms of brightening or tightening of pores. Basically it didn't do anything much for my skin.
I won't be repurchasing this anymore because I'd much rather spend my money on It's Skin's VC Effector which works a lot better and is at a fraction of the price.
I finished one huge tub of the Mango Body Butter from Boots and I love this so much! I've never used body butters before because everyone complains about how thick it feels on the skin but I fell in love with the scent of this when I chanced upon it in BKK so I thought I would grab one to try anyway and I really love it! It makes my skin feel super soft and moisturised and I don't feel that it's too thick on my skin if I apply it right before I sleep at night.
Will I repurchase? Definitely! But maybe in other scents because I want to try other kinds first. (You can read my full review on this product HERE.)
I finally finished my second tub of Kiehl's Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocaco and I thoroughly love this eye cream. There isn't a single thing I don't like about it except for it's price.
It's moisturising, it doesn't cause oil seeds or my makeup to crease, my skin absorbs it quickly... It doesn't do much in terms of reducing dark eye circles but then again it does not claim to do that as well. If you're looking for an extremely moisturising eye cream and you don't mind taking the plunge, I would say get this.
I've repurchased this once already and the only reason why I haven't done so again is because I'm itching to try out other eye creams. (You can read my full review on this product HERE.)
I have finished 2 bottles of this serum and it is the Green Tea Seed Serum from Innisfree. I've recently blogged about this and while I like how it feels on my skin, I feel that it doesn't do much at all, not even in terms of hydration which is what this product claims to provide.
Would I repurchase, probably not. I think I'll save my money for other products instead. (You can read my full review on this product HERE.)
This is probably the first facial cleanser I've used from any Korean brands and it is the Mamonde Super Moist Foam. It does it's job as a facial cleanser and it even removes makeup pretty well, not that I actually recommend you using this as your makeup remover. It hydrates my skin decently, doesn't leave my skin feeling super clean and tight afterwards.
I still have one tube of this left because I bought it in Olive Young when they were having a 1+1 sale so I probably wouldn't repurchase this again because I have so many other facial cleansers to try but it is a pretty decent facial cleanser though it isn't my all-time favourite one. (You can read my full review on this product HERE.)
Boots is such a hard brand to get hold of in Singapore, and even now that they have finally brought in certain products from Boots into Singapore's drugstores, I still don't see the products that I usually use from Boots being sold in Singapore.
My best friend wanted to get this and because Boots was having a buy 1 get 1 free sale in BKK, I thought I would get one as well to try out. The toner from this range is fantastic so I really had high hopes for this serum but is was a disappointment for me because it didn't do anything for my face at all. Definitely won't be repurchasing this! (You can read my full review on this product HERE.)
I've never really used The Face Shop products before except for their masks but I've heard good things about their Chia Seed Water 100 and since I was on a hunt for a good moisturiser, I picked this one up.
It's a really lightweight moisturiser that does the job at hydrating the skin. I like the smell, I like how it does not leave any stickiness on the skin and it doesn't cause my make up to cake on my face. Chia seed is also supposed to be really good for hydration and this definitely does what it claims to do. I would repurchase this eventually I guess but not now because I have other moisturisers to try. (You can read my full review on this product HERE.)
This is the very first essence I've used and it is my favourite one so far. I picked up the IOPE Bio Essence Intensive Conditioning at the airport when I was flying from Jeju to Seoul and despite it's hefty price tag, I really like it.
It does so much conditioning to my skin and my skin never felt smoother, or clearer when I was still using this. It is a tad pricey compared to other Korean brands but I feel for IOPE, what you pay for is really what you get. I'm still on a hunt to see if other Korean brands do essences that are equally good at a fraction of the price so I'll be updating this blog when I've tried the ones I've got from other brands. (You can read my full review of this product HERE.)
The last product I've finished up is the Floral Hydro Cream from Mamonde and this is probably one of my favourite moisturisers.
There's nothing not to love about this moisturiser, it's lightweight, yet moisturising at the same time. It's basically almost like the Chia Seed Water 100 from The Face Shop just that I like the scent of this product a little bit more. It also helps that the packaging is a lot lighter and in the cutest shade of light blue. I'm a girl and we are suckers for good packaging. (You can read my full review of this product HERE.)
And that's all folks! I'm trying to finish some makeup products so I can do an actual post on makeup empties. I also have some other skin care products that are finishing as well so stay tuned to my next product empties post!
