On one of the rare Sundays that I wasn't working, SH and I had a fun day out starting with church in the morning (well, going to church is fun for me haha). We then proceeded to what seems to be our weekly Sunday lunch place, Lao Zhong Zhong.
That day, I was craving for some laksa and that was what I got. It was really good! I love my laksa with yellow noodles even though I know a lot of people say that the yellow noodles has a bad smell to it.
SH opted for some kway chap with added intestines.
How could we pass up on some ngoh hiang when that's what Lao Zhong Zhong is famous for? Our usual choices include prawn cracker (only for SH), fish ball, ngoh hiang, and spring roll.

After that, we went back to SH's because he had some work to do and I desperately needed a nap. I've been working so much and waking up so early recently sobs.
We only ventured out in time for an dinner at the huge hawker center outside Kovan and I spotted a Korean food stall! I haven't had Korean food in the longest time, not since I graduated from NTU (and came back from Korea) :<
SH went for the Saba Fish.
While I went for Chicken Ramen. THIS WAS SUCH A DISAPPOINTMENT. I wanted the Korean style ramen not the Chinese one which this one was. There wasn't any Nong Shim taste at all?! Even the egg was half a hard boiled egg not the usual egg that's like cooked with the noodles. I really disliked this :<
Never again will I eat from this stall.
After having a hurried dinner, we made our way over to The Grandstand because I booked us an art jamming session with Artesatiq. If you've read my my earlier post on Arteastiq (you can read it HERE), you'll know what art jamming is about and how much I loved the whole experience so I decided to bring SH here to give it a try.
And after 3 hours...
Can I just say how proud I am of myself? I attempted to do something a little harder than the first one I did and I decided to draw a giraffe. I thought it turned out really well? Maybe because I'm not new to the whole experience that's why I managed to do it faster than before as well. It definitely isn't the nicest giraffe but I'm very well pleased with the final results.
SH decided to go for a silhouette of tree and I thought he did a pretty good job considering how he didn't really have any experience painting prior to this. He really enjoyed himself as well.
