If you were to google what to eat in Myeongdong, I'm pretty sure that one of the first places to pop up will definitely be Myeongdong Gyoja.
Their menu pretty much consists of less than 10 items which probably indicates that they're pretty good because they're so specialised.
The first item we ordered was their mandu which essentially is dumplings, kind of like our local xiao long bao. I really liked it!
Myeongdong Gyoja is well-known for their knife-cut, kalguksu noodles which are served in a flavourful broth with meat and vegetables. Think of our mee hoon kway just the Korean version.
The last dish we ordered was their bibim guksu which is cold noodles with vegetables and a red hot pepper paste. I wouldn't say that their pepper paste was really spicy though, I thought it was pretty okay.
