#1146: Korea Travelogue // Hyeopjae Beach

Hyeopjae Beach
Address:
| Hyeopjae-gil, Hallim-eup, Jeju-si, Jeju-do |

One of the prettiest and whitest beaches I've ever seen and been to. Hyeopjae Beach is located on the west side of Hanrim-eup, and is part of Hanrim Park. The beautiful white colour of the sand comes from the large amounts of crushed seashells that have been mixed with the sand. The black rocks are volcanic rocks since Jeju is a volcanic island after all.

I love the blue ocean and skies, and white beaches and that's why my favourite holiday destinations usually involve one or the other (or both). And Hyeopjae Beach is the perfect combination of the both of them. There weren't a lot of people when we arrived and that made for really pretty pictures without people crowding all over. The contrast of the black volcanic rocks and white sand made the whole area really lovely. Definitely a must-visit if you love beaches as much as I do!
