Have you ever gotten bored of doing the same few things whenever you go out on dates with your significant other? No matter how good movies and dinner are, it does get old some times because that's all there is to it. Just a different movie, and maybe a different place for dinner.
So in the spirit of doing something different, SH and I decided to spend one of our Saturdays together hiking along MacRitchie Reservoir's Tree Top Walk.
All in all, it was a pretty good trip, although it definitely was challenging at some points because I'm not the most athletic person and my usual "exercise" pretty much consists only of walking/running around in the cafe at work. But it was a really lovely hike through the lush greenery and the view from the top was really breathtaking.
Beware of the mosquitoes, and the fact that the hike is about 10km or so, give and take, depending on which trails you follow. Also, please wear proper shoes. I didn't but then again, I'm silly like that some times.
