#1125: Korea day 9: Paris Croissant & Nami Island

Blogging about Korea really makes me miss it :'( Mostly because every single day we went to some where new, saw something new, ate something new…. You get the drift.

In the previous post you've probably seen us go to Paris Croissant and we bought a Rare Strawberry Tart for breakfast the next day!! It tasted really good (even though I'm not exactly a strawberry person.)

The main attraction for the day was Namiseom!! Namiseom or Nami Island is well-known because they filmed parts of Winter Sonata there.

I still remember watching the drama when I was really little with my mummy, not that I really remember much about the plot or the actors inside.

Address:
1023, Bukhangangbyeon-ro, Gapyeong-eup, Gapyeong-gun, Gyeonggi-do

Getting here:
1. Take the subway to Gapyeong Station
2. Flag a taxi outside the station to Namiseom parking lot (Travel time: 5-10 mins)
3. Take the ferry from Namiseom Dock to Namiseom Island (Travel time: 5-6 mins)

Or alternatively….. You can take the flying fox in!

I'm super scared of heights so nope sirree, I ain't getting on no flying fox. I opted for the ferry ride instead, which costed us 8,000 won/person for a 2 way trip.

May I just say right now that Namiseom is really pretty?! Not gonna bother adding in captions but feast your eyes on how pretty everything is there.

Can't remember where exactly we had dinner at but it wasn't a place that we planned on having dinner at. We couldn't find the place we wanted to go and ended up walking around in circles so we gave up and picked an eatery that looked decent.

And we dropped by O'Sulloc for some Fredo Green Tea which didn't exactly think was that fantastic but my friends thought it was amazing.
