That's love

"When he stops by just to say hello, cause you’re not allowed out tonight. When he comes by to meet your dad. When he has two hour long phone conversations with your 8 year old sister, because he knows that she means a lot to you, and he wants to get close with her because it would please you. When he’s the last thing you think about at night, and the first you think about in the morning. When you fight but you know it will all turn out okay in the end…that’s love."

Every relationship is a gamble where one takes the chance that despite all the hurt, it may just work out. Even if the current guy on your mind isn't the one who hurts you, it'll just be yet another guy. But if you don't even wish to take the first step to try, you'll always fail, and you'll never know what you just missed out on.

Despite knowing all these, I'm afraid to take the first step, to learn to love again.
