My 2013:

There comes a time at the end of every year when you look back at where you were and where you are now and be happy with the progress you've made and how much you've accomplished.

2013 has been a pretty good year for me all in all.

I have loved, and lost, picked myself up and become stronger than before.

I have made loads of new friends that have been there for me through it all and have made me a better person than before.

I have new additions to my family which make me a really happy girl.

I have managed to improve my grades and hopefully will be able to continue doing so.
I have gone overseas with friends because I can!
And I have had truckloads of awesome amazing food, so much so that I can't even….

So!

Here's my 2013 in pictures… (with some captions)

Made friends with an extremely friendly and adorable cat which I named "white socks" because he has, quite literally,  white socks.

I swear, my ability to name animals after the obvious is quite amazing.

Went on my first bike road trip to Genting earlier this year which is an experience like no other.

Travelled more than 850km, there and back, all in less than 24 hours.

I don't know how we survived but I'm glad we did.

I started exercising (a bit) for the first time since I graduated from College.

Though I know this isn't anything fantastic or is a mile-stone for most people around me, it definitely takes a lot of motivation for me to get off my ass and move my body to exercise.

I'm a typical sloth.

Celebrated my 21st birthday this year with the most important people in life by my side :')

I'm so thankful and blessed to have all these people make time just to come and be there with me on my special day, all of you know I love you all right! ^^

My virgin trip to the SEA Aquarium happened this year too!

My favourite hamster in the whole wide world, Almond, passed away a few months back and till now he's still the only hamster I really really loved :'(

Sat in a convertible for the first time ^^

Went to Batam for the first time this year, with Mel! ^^

It's the first time I've gone for a legit trip overseas without my family members around.

I know I'm deprived, even my sis has been overseas with her friends before I even did.

Visited the zoo again yay!
I love visiting the zoo 'cuz I love animals, especially giraffes!

Celebrated Wimbly Lu's 2nd anniversary with a DnD at the Jewel Box which is a really amazingly pretty place.
Been working at WL since December last year which makes it a full year since I started working here and I've made pretty amazing friends :)
Whoever said you can't become good friends with your colleagues is definitely wrong in WL's case, but then again, I have really special bosses and it is a special working environment so I know this isn't the norm.

My friends and I managed to set off 3 floating lanterns on mid-Autumn festival :)
I'm still waiting for my wishes to come true..

I had the privilege to attend the F1 Grand Prix for the first time in my life.
Like I said before, I'm not a fan of F1 so I feel like the tickets were somewhat wasted on me, but then again, I guess it's the experience of being there before?

Celebrated Halloween this year at USS and this year's the first time I've ever celebrated Halloween in any way.
Wasn't as scary as I thought it would be but a good experience nonetheless.

Had a staycation at Wanderlust Hotel yay!!
Been wanting to go to Wanderlust for the longest time because everyone keeps raving about how pretty it is and it really didn't disappoint :)

Visited Batam for the second time this year just because it's the holidays and I'm free to travel a bit!
It was one of the best things that happened to me simply because I was working so hard and was pretty burnt out so this trip could not have been more timely :)

I have been playing with so many bunnies this year guys, just look at the number I've played with just this year alone.

And of course, all of you know Mocha right?

Well, the new addition I mentioned in the family is my little bunny, Snowball!
He's an absolute darling and he's just to most adorable and fluffy bunny I have ever met.
Brought him out on Christmas eve to my friend's place and everyone fell in love with him ^^

Went for another staycation on the eve of Christmas eve at New Majestic Hotel this time and boy was that hotel super pretty!
Was really skeptical when I first heard of the name of the hotel but it did live up to my expectations and more.

And of course, I had loads and loads of good food this year!!

So much that I literally cannot even..
My love for food knows no end I swear, and this year I definitely ate much more awesome food than I have ever had.

I am really thankful for every good thing that has happened in my life in 2013, because I know ultimately everything good comes from God and I am so blessed to have Him in my life.
I am also thankful for the trials I have faced because I have become a better and stronger person through it all, even though there were indeed times when I just wanted to give up on everything altogether.

2013 has been a pretty amazing year and I hope 2014 will be more awesome than 2013 has been.
