It's been so long since I last went into Malaysia and a few Saturdays ago, that's what we did.
Mel, Kev, Wq and I rode up to Kukup on an impromptu trip ^^
It took us quite a while to ride there because of the rain and the fact that we missed a turning as well but yay, we made it!
All decked out in rain gear 'cuz of the rain but I was so upset 'cuz I wore my NBs and they got caught in the heavy rain :(
Went further into the town area and literally rode our bikes into a restaurant.
#likeabaus
Since it was still pretty early, we decided to go for a ferry ride to explore the area, super cheap! Only 5 MYR per person?
And it was the perfect time for a ferry ride because of the sun set... (Not that you can actually see the sun though).
I loveeeee being near water. In secondary school, one of my friends and I literally spent the whole holidays visiting either Pasir Ris park or East Coast park almost everyday because I feel happiest whenever I'm near the sea.
Stopped by at one of the kelongs which basically was a marketing gimmick to get us to buy the stuff there.
First they brought us around to see a few random sea creatures...
And then kept pestering us into the shop to buy the products they have on sale.
But the dogs there were really cute though hehe.
But the people there were really mean to the dogs. One of the dogs hung around us and the dude bringing us around kept chasing the dog away and even took his slipper to "beat" the dog?!
Dafuq's wrong with the dude's attitude seriously.
And then he even pushed the dog down the water just 'cuz we asked what would happen if the dogs fell into the water.
Poor doggy swam around for a bit before managing to climb back up.
Urgh *shakes head*
The wooden planks were so shaky 'cuz they weren't tied firmly together or nailed down that it was such a horror moving around, especially for someone with balancing issues like me.
Basically had to grab whoever was nearest to me to guide me.
But yay, glad I didn't fall into the water!
After that we went back to the restaurant for foooooood.
We ordered prawns, crab, chicken and an omelet which costed us about 12x MYR, pretty decent I think? Idk, I don't usually eat seafood.
After dinner we just headed back to Singapore 'cuz it was getting pretty late already but yay, I'm always happy to go on road trips. Still reminiscing about the Genting trip we took earlier this year...
Heh oh well!
All in all it was a pretty good day out! :)
