So on Friday, I headed to Pasir Laba Camp (PLC) for my boy's Sergeant Cadet Graduation Parade (SCGP). I was so nervous because I was going down alone and I didn't expect to see anyone I knew there. Moreover, I'm generally nervous whenever I'm going to unfamiliar places alone because I'm scared of getting lost, plus the boy will be too busy with his preparations to actually give me proper directions should I get lost.
Zy didn't help either because he went "Make sure you alight after the Discovery Center because if you miss the stop then bye bye you'll be at Tuas." I have nice friends huh.
So anyway I met Zy near the entrance of the camp and then I saw KaiLun there! So i sat with her for half of the parade which made me feel so much better knowing that I wasn't alone ^^ Oh and I saw Billy too!
After complaining for quite some time because the weather was so frickin' hot, the parade finally began. Nothing much to comment on the parade cuz I wasn't paying attention (parades are boring) and anyway I was sitting too far away from the center to catch what the emcee was saying.
After more talking by the emcee, the guys did a march past and I manage to snap pictures of the contingent the boy was in, didn't manage to spot him cuz he was in the center of the whole contingent and there was just too many people.
Then it was time for the family members of the army boys to help them change their rank! Walked over to the boy's contingent and counted to the 8th row before walking in between the guys and the boy's friend said "Weiqiang zai hou mian" which was funny cuz I've never seen that guy before, and I have no idea how he knew I was the boy's gf in the first place! Gave the boy a huge hug even though he was all sweaty cuz I was so proud of him hehe. And I met the boy's mum there!

And this photo's so funny. I snapped it without thinking and when I playback the photo, it looks as though his mum was scolding him and he was rolling his eyes at her! None of that sort happened though, she was just talking to him.
So then we had to go back to our seats while the guys formed up to have a final march past before they went to return their rifles.
We were supposed to watch a random video while the guys returned their rifles and then marched in and perform some funny actions (I really don't know how else to describe them. A funny dance?)
And then finally, my favorite part of any parade, the part when they throw their caps/beret up in the sky cuz it's finally over! Congratulations to all the guys who made it through the whole SCS journey ^^

After that, the boy went to take photos with his friends while I brought his mum and uncles to meet Zy before heading to grab some refreshments. The boy met us afterwards and then it was photo taking time for the two boys! Zy purposely didn't change out of his number 4 cuz he said wearing the number 4 to take photos looks nicer LOL.

And then the boys decide to wear their berets and take photo.
Decided to go get food then and head over to the grand stand to have dinner! Zy was so sad though cuz there weren't any ice creams left over and he really wanted to have one haha. Met the boy's friends there and they took a photo.
After that, the boy went to update his mum about his whereabouts and we went off to the HQ building for them to take a shower and change out to their civilian clothes.
The boys took quite some time to bathe so I did what any normal girl would do with an iPhone and a dslr at hand............
Then, off we went to Serangoon Gardens in search of some ice cream for the boys and froyo for me ^^ Zy drove all of us over and the boys decided to head to Udders.

Zy gave us a lift to the boy's place and while the boy started washing his things, I started snapping more pictures cuz that's what bored people do.

I think this was one of the most fruitful Friday I've ever had with the boy in the longest time ^^ I love you baby boy!
