8th

Happy 8th, it's unbelievable we've lasted as long as we had, for certainly, no one expected us to, myself included I admit. It's been months and months of joy with you around, always there to brighten up my skies whenever I may be feeling down.
Even though due to your duties to our country, you're not around more than 80% of the time, I still love you because I know you'll spend every little bit of that 20% that you're free, with me.

You're lovable like that.

I love the way your smile can make me smile right back at you, even though we maybe in the midst of one of our worst quarrels.

Even if all I feel like doing is smacking your head off cuz of something you did, the sight of you pouting like I've done you a massive wrong is enough to make me stop at my tracks.

Throughout these 8 months, I've seen the best, and worst sides of you, and you in turn have seen mine too. I understand that no one person is perfect, and I love you, especially for you imperfections.
No matter how many times we've quarreled, I know that we'll make it up as fast as the quarrel surfaced, we're funny like that.

You're off on your field trip right this instance and I'm spending our 8th with my friends, it's alright cuz I know you'll definitely make it up to me in your own way.

I've learnt not to judge you by how others have once treated me but by how you do things different from others. This makes every single action of yours sweeter than any others cuz you're unique like that.
No matter what the others say, I know that my heart belongs with you, nothing can change this fact.
