I'm back with an exciting little post because I bought a few cheeky items when I went to JB, and also when I went to BKK with SH in April and I thought I would just post about them all here.
So recently, SH and I decided to pop over the causeway to JB to explore KSL and also to have my favourite Ah Piaw wonton mee and loklok.
We drove over and got stuck in the traffic jam for a good 2 hours which was okay because we pretty much spent it blasting songs in the car and taking funny snapchats of each other haha.
When we went to KSL, we popped into their Popular Bookstore and I was so impressed with everything I saw there! Their Popular seems so much nicer than the ones we have over here and I'm so jealous.
One of the reasons why I wanted to head to KSL was because they had an Etude House there and my friends kept telling me about how cheap the stuff there was compared to the prices in Singapore so I was pretty excited to check it out.
I got cheated though, it wasn't that cheap? In fact, the prices of the individual items in KSL were more expensive than that in Singapore, even with our advantage in the exchange rate >.>
However... They were having a storewide 1-for-1 and so I grabbed up a few items I've been meaning to try for the longest time.
Firstly, I got their Every Month Cleansing Form in Tea Tree and Rice. Ever since I saw these facial cleansers on the shelves the inner shopaholic in me has been dying to get some to try out.
They were priced at RM30 per piece but because of the 1-for-1 offer, I got them both at RM30 ($11.50 SGD) which is only slightly cheaper. The original price in Singapore is $6 per piece if I'm not mistaken so the original prices of the cleansers were almost double the price in Singapore.
-insert angry face-
I've been meaning to give Etude House's Collagen Moistfull range a try because I've heard so many people raving about how good they are and let's face it, it's time I injected some collagen into my skin because I'm definitely not getting any younger.
These Collagen Moistfull Sleeping Packs were going for RM77 ($29.60 SGD) per box but thanks to the sale, I got them both for RM77. This, I believe is much cheaper than what they're priced at in Singapore if I'm not mistaken.
I can't wait to give them a try!
When I went to BKK in April, I went a wee bit crazy at the Wet n Wild counter in Watsons because I've heard so many good things about this brand but we don't have it in our drugstores so I was pretty psyched to finally get my hands on a few products.
The first of which is their Color Icon Bronzer in the shade Ticket To Brazil. I have done a review of this bronzer, you can click HERE if you're interested.
Earlier this year I picked up one of Wet n Wild's Mega Last Lip Colors in the shade Mauve Outta Here and it's one of my all time favourite lipsticks right now. I love how the colour payoff is amazing albeit a bit drying on the lips.
And since they were really affordable, I decided to grab myself a bunch of other shades.
I got Purty Persimmon, Red Velvet, Cherry Picking, Sugar Plum Fairy, Just Peachy, and 24 Carrot Gold. I can't wait to give all of them a try! Should I do a lip/hand swatch post and review on them?
