Am going to take time out of my busy schedule that I've planned for myself today to blog out this post because I really don't want to neglect this space too much.
What I really want to say is that you never really know just how strong you are until your strength is put to the test, then you realize that you are actually much stronger than what you, and everyone else originally thought. I draw this mini analogy to show that the love Wq and I have, is actually much stronger than what I would have thought it to be.
There are so many times when our love has been put to the test, times when we quarrel and literally have (almost) physical fights. Times when we misunderstand each other which leads to cold wars and times when we are just so sick of what the other party does or did not do that we just don't want to bother about it anymore.
But through all the hard ships, and hard moments that our relationship has gone through, I've never ever thought of giving this up. Even when I cry myself to sleep every night. Even when I swear to myself that I really don't need to take shit from any one. (I'm giving this from my point of view, but I know I'm no angel! I'm pretty sure Wq has such moments as well.)
With the passing of every storm, I'm glad not only that we made it through, but for the experience of the storm that makes us wiser and more appreciative of what we have. You're truly my once in a lifetime love.
This weekend's been a dream come true because I got to spend it with two of my top favourites of all time!
Wq and I spent quite a bit of time playing with bunnies this weekend!
There's a pet shop specializing in bunnies and after-purchase bunny care and the shop owners were kind enough to allow us to play with the bunnies they had for sale.
The two adorable lion heads that stole my heart at first sight.
Their fur and eyes are so black that you can barely even see their eyes! They were so adorable my heart literally melted.
Check out those hind legs!
And a white and grey Netherlands Dwarf that stole Wq's heart away.
On Saturday night, we went out with Wq's uncle and mum to Hougang 1 (formally known as Hougang Point) for some grocery shopping.
And Wq cooked me a meal for the first time ever! ^.^
It wasn't a feast by any means but I felt the love all the same!
Cooking rice.
(Do you know that I have no idea how to cook rice even?)
Opening up a can of campbell soup!
We had Creamy Chicken Mushroom if you're curious about what flavour we had.
This was my first can of cambell soup! I know! I'm super noob when it comes to norms like these. My sis drinks campbell soups pretty often but I never had the urge or craving for them so I've never tried them before till now.
Just add the can into a pot, and add a can of water in slowly till it simmers and you're good to go.
Next up was luncheon meat! So unhealthy but it's a favorite for the both of us.
Don't judge the wok we used! We initially tried using a frying pan but it didn't work because the bottom of the pan and the electric cooker was a mismatch and the cooker refused to work with the pan!
So we had to make do with a wok. LOL I know right.
Didn't manage to take photos of him scrambling up some eggs but here's the finished product!
A simple meal for two but I felt so happy eating it even though Wq kept saying that he wasn't a good cook and he screwed up the meal.
I beg to differ because I appreciate the fact that he even bothered to cook us a meal! Not many guys I know will bother even entering the kitchen.
I love you Wq and I promise you I'll cook you a meal (or learn to cook) when I'm more free!
