Here's a random blog post because I'm too tired today to blog about my anniversary trip just yet. I've got over 200 photos to upload before I can even start blogging so I thought I'd do a blog post about something else!
Ever since Wq and I got together a year ago, I bought this pink heart shaped box because I wanted to store items that would signify the journey that we've embarked on together.
Little things like movie stubs, or letters will be placed into the box and that's what I've been doing on and off for the past one year.
Last night, I opened the box to sort out all of the stuff that I've placed in it and I thought that maybe some of you would be interested in what's inside, the same way I was.
So here goes!
Got the box for only $2 at Daiso and I got a matching one for the boy as well that's filled to the brim with letters I've wrote to him over the months.
First thing I sorted out were the letters that the boy wrote to me.
Some how or other, guys aren't really writers.
Most of the boys I've dated don't even bother writing any letters at all to me, so it's always such a sweet treat whenever the boy hands me a letter out of the blue :')
Makes me feel so loved because he thought of me when he wrote it!
And I've got to mention that my bf is a guy who types out everything he wants to write in his phone before transferring everything onto paper.
The amount of thought gone through into writing just one letter is crazy so you can imagine how much I appreciate receiving one from him!
The next item? A deflated balloon!
It's the very first balloon I've ever received from any one (not including from my parents when I was a kid!)
He got this balloon for me when he asked me if I wanted to be in a relationship with him :')
It was one of the happiest days of my life because I've never been so pampered by any one before.
He went through so much trouble to plan the day because I told him before that no one ever asked me to be their gf in a memorable way.
And of course, a typical item that every one has in their wallets or in a box somewhere: ticket stubs from all the movies we've watched before!
A collection of receipts from places that we've been to like the first time we went to Hatched or when we went to Riders' Cafe to celebrate the boy's birthday...... ^.^
Or the first time we went to Nakhon and the first time we went to Founders' BKT.......
Or the first time we went to Nakhon and the first time we went to Founders' BKT.......
Ok, I just realized most of them are of food places -__-
Hehe, which reminds me how all my friends (and siblings) always complain to me that my instagram/twitter/fb are always spammed with food pictures because of all the awesome food places the boy brings me to!
So much love for this boy who brings me to eat yummy food all over Singapore ^.^
Also, the first time we visited the Art Science Museum for the Titanic exhibition.....
I thought it wasn't that worth it though but it's a once in a lifetime experience and I guess it's worth it if you think of it that way.
Our first real getaway from Singapore was in June this year when we went on a cruise together.
It was a magical 4 days spent aboard a ship, waking up in his arms, having breakfast, lunch and dinner at different restaurants every day, sipping on hot chocolate while chilling to a live band.....
The most awesome part is that it felt as though we were suspended in time and we had no one else to distract us from one another because it was only us two.
The first time we drove into Sentosa to spend the day there!
Little trills like this make my day because I've never been driven into Sentosa before, not since I was a kid and my parents brought us over there to play on the beach.
My first masquerade mask when we went to support my friend for her dance competition!
And last but definitely not least, our anniversary trip to USS.... :')
I promise I will try to blog about my USS trip asap ok?
To the one person who has held onto me through all the ups and downs, thank you for being a part of my life and for always being the one that I can count on.
The past one year has literally flown past because of you and it doesn't even feel like it's been a year at all, it feels more like half a year or less.
I know that this collection of items will only grow with time, as with our memories and experiences and I hope that you're going to be the last one on my list, and I on yours.
I love you so very much and I hope that you know just how much I appreciate everything that you've done for me.
