Mauve Outta Here

Just a side note before I start this post proper...

I'll be going to BKK next week (!!!!) and I'm majorly excited 'cuz I'll be going with SH this time round~~~ Am thinking of attempting to vlog the trip because I've never done something like that before. Yay or nay?

I've always been meaning to head to Lola's Cafe for a try. However, every single time SH and I make our way there, it's always packed to the brim, and the waiting time is insane so we decide to give it a miss. Pretty upset though because I've heard that the food there is amazing.

The first time, we went to Ice Edge Cafe instead. The next two times, we found ourselves at Soon Soon Teochew Porridge which is just a few shops down from Lola's.

As you may be able to tell, SH made the selection because I don't eat 2 out of the 5 dishes.

It, however, is still comforting to eat foods that remind me of my childhood. Also, being a huge fan of Chinese food, I can never go wrong with teochew muay (porridge)~

After that, we found ourselves catching Insurgent with my free movie vouchers courtesy of Wimbly Lu's 2014 DnD~ Finally put these vouchers to good use after having them in my wallet for more than half a year?!

(Ignore how red my face is, I've been having major break outs and really dry skin recently :'<)

I really like this lippie colour! It's Mauve Outta Here by Wet and Wild if you're wondering! It's this really pretty purplish pink colour.

It also stays on my lips even after eating a full meal?! I've never been one who goes for lasting lip colours simply because it doesn't really bother me (much) if my lipstick fades but I must say that I am impressed with the lasting power on this one!

It is, sadly, a matte formula which means that it does emphasis any dry patches you may have on your lips so make sure you exfoliate your lips and put on a good lip balm before applying this baby.

Got SH to take a photo for me because I really liked the top I'm in! White and black are my favourite colours to wear and since I wear so much black at work, I'm usually in white on my off days haha.
