I'll blog about my new year countdown at the Float when I get the photos from Wq this weekend so instead, I'll blog about my first day of this brand new year instead!
On Tuesday, I woke up at 11am only to receive a call from Charisse at 1130 asking me where I was. The conversation went something like this...
C: YQ! Where are you?
Me: I'm at home!
C: Are you serious?!
Me: Haha yes why?
C: The buffet starts at 1130!!
Me: Huh! I thought it starts at 1230? I remember Cheryl saying it starts at 1230!
C: No! It starts at 1130!
HAHA so yes, I was so crazy blur that I read the time on the text Cheryl sent to me wrongly. How I saw 1130 as 1230, I'll never know but the next thing I knew I was tell Wq through the toilet door that I needed to rush to Raffles City NOW.
Thank goodness they just starting eating when I reached though and Charisse was so nice to wait for me before going in together ^^
Sadly, we didn't take any photos but I can't wait to meet them again on the 6th!!
After that, Wq came to pick me up before we went prawning! Hehe.
This boy hardly ever agrees to bring me prawning 'cuz he thinks it's stupid for me to go since I don't dare to touch the prawns, or cook them or even eat them so I was so happy when he suggested going himself!
After we were done washing and cooking the prawns...

Obviously they weren't enough to fill his stomach so off we went the Popeyes next door for some proper food!

I was so drained after the day's activities that all I could do when I went back was to read some books and zonk off on my bed.
But I think I had an awesome first day of 2013 because I got to spend it with my favourite boy :*
