USS trip part 3

Hello hello!

Here's the final part to my USS trip!

(But don't worry, I didn't spam a lot of photos of my face, it's mostly of the items/mascots/fireworks in USS!)

After we were done with all the rides we could take, then came the Hollywood Party parade!

It actually started while I was sitting outside the BSG waiting for the boy to be done.

No captions needed, just appreciate all the different mascots! ^.^

I've got a soft spot for the Madagascar crew because when I was in my year 1 in JC, our theme for the orientation was Madagascar!

But oh my goodness I was SO DAMN PISSED with these penguins!!



Here I was, using both the camera and my phone to take pictures (I used my phone when the camera battery died on me) and these stupid penguins purposely aimed water at me and my gadgets!
I say purposely because they aimed water at me once but because I was blocked by some plants so it didn't get onto the camera.
And since I knew they were spraying water, I hurriedly attempted to keep the gadgets out of shooting range and the people inside those stupid penguin suits could obviously see me holding them and THEY SHOT THE WATER AT ME AGAIN.
It got on my phone and I was so pissed off!

Like dudes, are you blind or something? Don't aim your stupid water when you see people holding their cameras and/or their phones?
Are you dumb or are you dumb?

OK rant mode off.

And after the parade ended, the lights started coming on because it was dark enough (it was nearly 7pm by then).




There was a lovely live band playing pretty good music outside the NY part and we decided to hit the shops because I wanted to stay back for the fireworks which started at 8pm.

And the award for the Best Boyfriend goes to..... *drum roll*........ WQ ^^



I won't say I'm the best girlfriend but hehe I posed with the award for fun!
But Wq really does deserve the best bf award ok!

And we finally managed to snap 2 pictures with some of the mascots!
I wanted to take a picture with Marilyn Monroe so badly but we didn't see her at all :(

But we managed to take a photo with Kungfu Panda and Woody!




And when it was nearly 8pm, we headed to the area beside Mel's Diner to wait for the fireworks ^^

And then the hush right before the fireworks started......
(On hindsight, I know I should have taken a video instead of multiple photos but just enjoy them since that's all I took!)

Don't you just love fireworks?
It was so magical, being there with a loved one and enjoying the burst of every colorful firework.
That's why I've been going to catch the NY countdown every single year without fail because I want to have my yearly dose of fireworks!

And with that, we bade farewell to USS, till the next time we venture there!

We headed over to Vivo for dinner and since Christmas is just round the corner, they had this lovely Christmas tree on display and I just had to snap a photo.
