Went to school today with my leather jacket on 'cuz it's the monsoon period and it's SO COLD whenever I'm in school :( It wasn't even due to the rain, it was the winds that were super strong today!
While I was on the way home, I texted my brother if he wanted to eat bak kut teh today instead of tomorrow night 'cuz I'll have to stay back for a project meeting tomorrow and he and daddy were agreeable so I came home to meet with them before heading off.
Wore my litas out just now ^^
We headed to Sin Heng's Claypot Bak Kut Teh at Joo Chiat!
Apparently, my parents used to bring us over to eat when we were really young 'cuz we used to stay in the area.
When we moved away, we stopped coming :(
So glad daddy brought us back here again!
Medium sized pot of bak kut teh to be shared among the 3 of us!
I'd say that the bak kut teh here's more herbal than peppery? I kind of prefer the peppery taste of Founder's bak kut teh more though. But it's quite good too!
Some of the other dishes we ordered to share:
Sambal fried rice.
Kang kong.
Fried egg with sausage.
Ate till I was super full! So happy to have dinner out with (half) of my family 'cuz we rarely go out to eat at all.

OK, now back to studying.......... :(
